Lorenzo Sidoti

Eclecticism and the miscellany of styles characterize the writing of Lorenzo Sidoti. Born in Rome, he took his first musical steps in the children's choir of the Arcum. He then decided to study the guitar and with it began his interest in composition and songwriting. These experiences led him to found the Progressive Rock Dance band, So Does Your Mother, with which he recorded two albums. He writes the soundtracks for “Frammenti” (2019) and “Qualcos’altro che ancora non c’è” (2021), both features premiered at International Venice Film Festival. Between 2022 and 2024 he composes several scores for documentaries produced by the Italian television (RAI) and Alveare Cinema. In 2025 he receives the commission by the “Accademia di Canto Lirico di Osimo” and “La lega del Filo d’oro” of a stage opera with the booklet by Vincenzo De Vivo, called “Una Missione per Due”.
